I have been trying to make a dining reservation at Hollywood & Vine for my trip 5/15-5/21 and it comes up no tables are available any day during that week at any time during each day. Can you suggest anything to get a reservation?

Hi Donna! Hollywood & Vine is one of my most favorite restaurants in all of Walt Disney World, so you’ve made an excellent choice!

I can tell you that it’s frustrating when you have your heart set on an eatery only to find no openings during your vacation! There are a few ways you can still try your hand at dining with Minnie. For your next vacation, plan early. Dining reservations open up 180 days in advance, and even earlier when you stay at a Disney resort. The earlier you book, the wider choice you will have for can’t-miss restaurants like Be Our Guest and Sci-Fi Dine-In.

If you are within the 180 day booking window, be sure to keep checking back on the Dining Reservations site during the weeks before your stay. Other guests may cancel their reservations and you can snag them in real time. This is particularly helpful 24-48 hours before your preferred dining time.

Lastly, if you were unable to catch a last second dining reservation on My Disney Experience, visit Hollywood & Dine's host the same day you are in Hollywood Studios. Some restaurants may take walk-up reservations or able to suggest a time based on an opening. There is no guarantee, but I have been able to dine with my best friends over a Lunar Long Island Iced Tea at Sci-Fi Dine-In using this strategy.
