I am trying to determine how much time to allow for the Mermaid makeover at the Pirate's League?

Hello Ashley!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My little girl was transformed into a Mermaid at The Pirates League on a recent Walt Disney World Resort Vacation.  It was an amazing experience and the "scales" looked amazing.  My daughter was thrilled with her makeover and loved being called Little Mermaid instead of Princess by Cast Members for the rest of the day at Magic Kingdom.

We arrived at The Pirates League 15 minutes in advance of our late morning reservation.  They were 15 minutes behind their scheduled appointments, but once we got in the chair the transformation from human to Mermaid took around 25-30 minutes.  Added with the Pirates League surprise at the end, the overall experience took just over an hour.

If you are looking to book FastPass+ Selections or Advanced Dining Reservations following The Pirates League, you may wish to err on the side of caution and book at least 75 minutes after your scheduled The Pirates League Experience.

If you are done well in advance of your next scheduled activity, be sure to spend some time in Adventureland and take a tour on Pirates of the Caribbean or participate in Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial to pass the time.  Jack Sparrow loves meeting new Pirates and Mermaids who have officially joined The Pirates League.

    Have a Swashbucklin' Adventure!
