I am trying to determine which building at The Grand Floridian is best for young children, any recommendations?

Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Meghan!

In my opinion, you really can't go wrong with any building at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  Much depends on what part of the resort is most desirable to you and your family.  If your little ones will spend lots of time in the sand near the beach, request Big Pine Key.  Do you want to be closest to the pool?  Request Big Pine Key, Boca Chica or Sugar Loaf Key.  Sugar Loaf Key is a Concierge/Club level building, so you would have to book Outer Lodge Club Level to stay there.  Perhaps your family will love looking out over the Grand Floridian Marina.  If so, Conch Key and Sago Cay are great requests.  They are also nearest to Gasparilla's, the Quick-Service location.  If your kids want to gaze out at Magic Kingdom Park, you may consider booking a theme park view room, and request Boca Chica.  If you prefer to be closest to the Main Building as well as transportation, then request Sago Cay, Big Pine Key or Sugar Loaf (Club Level).

As you can probably gather, there is no bad location at this resort.  The best location for your family will be the one that suits your desires the most.  In any case, I just know you're going to enjoy the beauty and feel of this fabulous resort!

I wish you an absolutely magical vacation!
