Hi I am trying to determine the best building to stay at in the Polynesian resort. We have 4 yr twins w/us, standard room & were told staying by monorail or ttc is key but there are many options that meet this criteria? Any recommendations? Thank you

Hi, Karyn!  My favorite building to stay in at the Polynesian is Rarotonga.   This building is just steps away from the Great Ceremonial House, home to the resort lobby, restaurants, shopping, and monorail.   I like the first floor to avoid the steps or elevator.   We usually ask for the view of the monorail.   My kids like looking outside as the monorail zips by, and you don't have any noise from guests walking outside.

My second favorite building is Niue.  This is also right by the Great Ceremonial House, and just a short walk to the Volcano Pool.

Make sure to request a room close to the lobby/transportation, but remember that requests cannot be guaranteed.  While they cannot always accommodate, they will do their best to find you a room that will work best for your family.

Have a great stay at the Polynesian!  This is such a great resort with its "island" feel!  Aloha!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
