Hi! We are trying to decide when to take a wonderful vacation to DW.We are trying to plan at a time when the crowds are light.The dates we have to choose from are March 1-5 or May 1-5. Can someone tell me which week the crowds would be lightest. Thanks S.

Generally, either of those dates would see only moderate crowd levels at WDW, as they are both far enough from the very busy week between Palm Sunday and Easter that anchors the Spring Break season. However, this year, our family went the second week of March and the crowds were thicker than I would have thought. Disney's 4 nights for the price of 7 promotion, I feel, lifted attendance.

If a wonderful vacation for you means lighter crowds, either week will do. If you're looking for milder weather, I'd go with the March dates. If you want to have enough heat to really enjoy the pools, go with May!
