Hey Rebecca-
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. How shall we travel? By boat? By bus? By foot? By monorail?
I am a huge fan of convenience and this question depends on where you will spend most of your time.
My preference for
Extra Magic Hours between these two outstandingly themed resorts is
Disney’s Beach Club Resort. Being close to “home” and using the walking paths to two resorts means you have the control of when you leave and arrive. If you don’t want to walk then set sail on a Friendship Boat back to Disney’s Beach Club Resort. To get to Magic Kingdom Park or Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park relax in a comfortable complimentary Walt Disney World Bus.
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge provides bus service to all parks and water taxis to Magic Kingdom Park which means waiting for buses.
Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts also share the most sensational relaxational splashtastical pool,
Stormalong Bay. The pool alone is worth the stay. The Flying Jib is a pirate ship slide where your 230-foot- long seafaring journey ends at a soft sand bottomed pool. Afterwords swim in the common pool or even journey around the island and under bridges on an inner tube in the lazy river.
Disney Dad Tip: A stay at Disney’s Beach Club means backdoor access to
Disney’s BoardWalk Area nightlife events like the “boardwalk buskers”. The magicians and other Atlantic City carney-style acts like sword swallowers are sure to make your night.
Rebecca, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
