Hello. I am trying to decide between visiting in mid-March or June. I have noticed that the hotels are more expensive in March. Is the park more crowded in March? Also, what is the average temp. for those times of year in Florida. Thanks!

    Hi Laura,

If you can go to WDW during the first couple of weeks of June, you will probably experience less crowds than during mid March.  Whenever kids are off school, the parks are going to be crowded.  Many schools, like my daughter's, have their spring break during the middle of March.  I'm from the northeast and schools here get out for summer vacation some time around the middle of June.  Its best to get down before then.

The weather will be much warmer in June.  From my own experience, I can tell you the weather in mid March is very unpredictable.  It could be cold enough for jackets or warm enough for shorts, but it won't be hot.  During June it will be warm enough to really enjoy the water parks or the resort pools.  The temperatures are usually in the 80s and 90s.

Thanks for the question.  Have a great vacation - Michelle
