Hi there, Amanda!
Welcome aboard, planDisney! Your sailing on the
Disney Magic is quickly approaching, and I know you are working to finalize plans for a magical 5-night Western Caribbean adventure. I looked over the port adventures you are considering, and you are correct that they both are the same length of time and both offer a tour of the
Uxmal Mayan Ruins. If you are interested in learning about cacao beans and the Mayan culture, I think the interactive
Choco-story at the museum is the deciding factor. I have not done this particular port adventure, but I have experienced one where we learned about cacao beans and found it very interesting as a chocoholic. I always recommend talking it over with the others in your traveling party to see if anyone has a preference.
Amanda, the Disney Magic has some of my favorite entertainment offered on any Disney ship. Two of the three Broadway-style shows are unique to this vessel:
Twice Charmed: An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story and
Tangled: The Musical. I hope you'll find time to visit the Walt Disney Theatre to see these stories come to life. I also love that the rotational dining experience includes a Tangled-themed meal at
Rapunzel's Royal Table. Your crew will love participating in Rapunzel's Birthday Celebration dinner, and I hope you'll try Rapunzel's Fry Pan Sweet Bread for dessert! It's delicious!
Thank you for sending in your question, Amanda. If you need any other help before you set sail, please let us know.
Nancy
