Hey Ashley! Welcome back to planDisney. We love to see our longtime Guests come back for more advice on making their Disney vacations the most magical experiences of their year. This is a very common question because parents love to celebrate birthdays for their little princes and princesses at the "Most Magical Place on Earth."
Guests under the age of 3 years old are Guests of Mickey Mouse at Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets. With a
Disney Resort Hotel Package including tickets and a
Disney Dining Plan, everything is lumped together based on the data you provide to Disney or your Authorized Disney Travel Specialist at the time of purchase. The price will not change in the middle of your vacation because someone has a birthday during the trip but everyone must be on the Disney Resort Hotel Package. However, if you are purchasing individual tickets or
Special Event tickets, such as a
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket, and it is after her birthday then you will need to buy her a ticket for Ages 3-9.
Be sure to ask for a Birthday Button for your daughter at the front desk of your resort or at a theme park ticket window. She can wear it proudly on her special day. Put it on her after you enter the theme park and Cast Members will wish her a "happy birthday" all day.
planDisney Pro Tip: Since it will be her birthday consider a trip to the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique inside Cinderella Castle or even a
Celebration Cake that can be ordered in advance at one of the
table service dining locations when you make a reservation.
Ashley, I know you want this to be the best birthday for your daughter. She is going to have an amazing time because, well, it's Disney! Please feel free to
write me back with any follow-up questions.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
