I am trying to decide on what tix to buy with 2 girls ages 4 and 7 who are currently 30" and 45" in height. I like the Hopper option for flexibility, but don't think we'd do more than 1 park/day, but what if we get sick, need a nap or don't like

    Hi Nicki!

Even without a Park Hopper, you can always leave a theme park to go back to your hotel for a nap, swim in the pool, etc.  You can then just return to the same theme park you visited in the morning.  It's only considered park hopping if you go to a second different theme park on the same day.  In that case, you need the Park Hopper option.

That said, there's no reason to buy the Park Hopper option early.  You can wait until you are at Walt Disney World and in fact, you can wait until you are actually standing in front of the gate at the second theme park.  In that case, you can just get your tickets upgraded then.  Just remember that it costs the same to add the Park Hopper option on the last day of your trip as it does on the first!

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any questions!
