We are trying to decide on a time to visit. At this point we have narrowed it down to the 3rd week in Sept or the week of Thanksgiving. Any help with which way to go?

    Hello Kristi!

The week of Thanksgiving is typically one of the busiest times in Walt Disney World because many people are off from work and school the whole week of Thanksgiving.  The third week of September typically has lower crowds therefore less lines on rides and attractions.  September is also what is considered a Value Season which means that the Resort per night rates are lower than in during Peak Seasons (Thanksgiving week is a Peak Season).  As an added bonus by going at the end of September, you will get to take part in the Halloween festivities of the Magic Kingdom by viewing the amazing Halloween decorations! Also if you purchase a ticket, you can attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party in the Magic Kingdom on select nights during September and October.  I would definitely recommend planning your trip to Walt Disney World during the third week of September for maximum enjoyment and minimum waiting in lines!

I hope that you make some magical memories on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
