Trying to decide on strollers. Will I get strange looks if I bring my 6 year old a stoller? If I do bring her one should I do 2 umbrella stollers or purchase a side by side? She is 42 in tall and 38 lbs not sure what would make her more comfortable. Thx

    Hi Amber,

You will not get strange looks if you bring a stroller for your six-year-old at Walt Disney World.  (You might get envious looks at the end of the day from parents who wish they had brought a stroller for their tired six-year-olds, but not strange looks.)  I took a stroller for my five-year-old during his first trip to Walt Disney World and it was the best decision ever!  There is so much walking on Disney vacations that your child will no doubt be thrilled to have a place to rest periodically, and you'll be even more thrilled not to have to carry her at the end of the day when she falls asleep from blissful exhaustion.

You ask whether a double stroller or two umbrella strollers would be more comfortable.  I assume from your question, then, that you have another child traveling with you.  If you have more than one adult in your travel party, then I vote for two umbrella strollers.  They are easier to fold up for travel on the Disney buses, boats, and monorails.

Wishing you a truly magical Walt Disney World vacation!
