We're trying to decide on staying at the Shades of Green or Art of Animation Resort. What is the travel time from each resort to Magic Kingdom? What is the mode of transportation?

    Hi Roger!

You'll be using buses to get to and from your resort in each case.  Shades of Green is in the Magic Kingdom resort area, so it's closer to Magic Kingdom, so your travel time would be about 5 minutes.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is further away from Magic Kingdom, but not far from Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot.  Travel time to Magic Kingdom would be about 15-18 minutes.

I'd also take a look at the price breakdown.  Shades of Green could potentially offer you quite a bit of savings for your accommodations depending on what category you are eligible for.  Also keep in mind that the standard rooms at Shades of Green include a sleeper sofa.

    Have a magical vacation!
