3/27 trying to decide between staying 4 nights at the treehouse with brothers fam or stay in 2 cabins and my family 2ad4k(10,8,6,4) stay 7/8 nights & them for 4. Really only chance for SS, but love FW. Free din can't split vac between resorts. Help!

    Hi Angela,

I guess the big decision is whether you would ultimately want more time in Walt Disney World which staying at the cabins at Fort Wilderness would provide.

While a four-night stay in a treehouse villa at Saratoga Springs would be memorable, you'll have to decide if you envision a longer vacation at a resort in which you already know you love or a shorter vacation in an accommodation that would be new to you.

I love the WDW resorts and often I choose our Disney vacation based upon the resort first. Other times, we prefer to vacation longer and are then willing to stay at a less expensive resort. Which type of vacation do you want most on this particular trip?

Another consideration might be location. Fort Wilderness puts your group closer to the Magic Kingdom. Saratoga Springs is next to Downtown Disney.

If you stay four nights at the treehouse villa, will you be spending enough time at the resort to enjoy the accommodations? Or would your family be out touring the parks with a busy itinerary?

Sometimes the accommodation is the most important part of the trip. Other vacations, the accommodation may be for convenience (location, smaller budget, etc.) and secondary to touring the parks, eating at restaurants, shopping, etc.

I wish your family a magical trip!

Oh, I would choose the cabins in order to spend more time in WDW at a more relaxing pace!
