We are trying to decide where to stay. We are torn between the Old Key West Villa and Animal Kingdom Lodge. Is it possible to spend part of our time at one hotel and then switch to the other?

Hello, Amanda!  It is always nice hearing from a fellow Texan.  Disney always has a way of making "Dreams Come True"!  Accommodating guests is their speciality and your situation falls right into this.  I cannot even begin to tell you how many times I have stayed at two or three different resorts, all in one trip, because I just had to get a taste of the resorts that Disney has to offer.  When you are ready to set your vacation reservations, just inform the Cast Member that you would like to experience both the Old Key West Resort and Animal Kingdom Lodge.  Of course, they will check for availability and really try to make this happen for you and your family.  I have full confidence in their "magic".  You can call (407)939-7675 to start booking your vacation package.
Well, I hope you are ready to begin planning the vacation of a lifetime!  Please make sure to visit us again with any new questions.  Have a magical day!
