Trying to decide on which Star Wars weekend to attend. Anyone have any suggestions? My DS7 doesn't really care which celebrities are appearing. He just really wants to go because he feels the force will be strong there :-D

    Hi there, Allison!

Star Wars Weekends at Disney's Hollywood Studios are incredibly fun for the fan and non-fan alike!

If your DS is not particularly fussy about the appearances, then I would immediately recommend shooting for the second weekend of the festivities. Opening weekend - May 18-20, 2012 - is going to be reasonably busy, as you might imagine.

Starting in June, schools around the nation let out, and kids of all ages will be flocking to the Studios to feel the force of the Force.

The weekend of May 25-27, 2012, while by no means deserted, promises to be one of the lower-attended Star Wars weekends at the Studios. It's a "between week" -- not opening weekend, and not when many children are on summer vacation.

If that week doesn't work for you, try the following weekend: June 1-3, 2012. Again, many children are still in school, and the really significant uptick in attendance won't likely happen for one more week.

Be advised, please, that while I am making these suggestions, Star Wars weekends - every one of them! - are very popular, and you will that crowd levels at the Studios are higher than average. On the other hand, this is a fantastic event, and it's loads of fun to visit during any of the weekends it runs.

Have a wonderful time with your Padawan!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
