    Hi Moms. Trying to decide between Rum Point Beach and White House Beach excursions during our stop in Grand Cayman. Travelling with two 8-year olds. Thoughts? Thank you.

    Thanks so much for sailing back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask another fun-filled question! We love booking Port Adventures at each of the different ports of call whenever we set sail with Captain Mickey. Disney Cruise Line offers so many Port Adventures to choose from, too! After spending the day on a Port Adventure, I love enjoying dinner in the Main Dining restaurant later that evening and reminiscing about our explorations ashore!

    You're deciding between two really great excursions in Grand Cayman for you and the 8-year old buccaneers traveling with you! Traveling to Rum Point Beach Adventure is part of the fun of the Port Adventure because you and your adventurers will board a catamaran and sail approximately 60 minutes to the beach! There is also the option to rent water sport equipment at an additional cost during your visit! White House Beach Getaway is absolutely gorgeous and will give you and your crew hours of relaxing time enjoying the ocean and sand. One thing I do want to mention about the White House Beach Getaway is the shoreline can get a bit rocky, so wearing water shoes might be more comfortable.

    In my opinion, because you're traveling with two kiddos, I would choose Rum Point Beach Adventure while visiting Grand Cayman. The kids might enjoy traveling on a catamaran to get to the beach as well as renting water equipment once there! No matter which excursion you choose, I can honestly say you can't make a wrong decision between these two beach destinations!
