We are trying to decide which resort to book for our Disney World trip later this year. Can I request to have a coffee maker in a value resort standard room? If so, is there an additional charge for it? Thank you.

Hi Sheryll! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I will tell you that I am Grumpy until I get my coffee in the morning! I actually think I can’t function without it. When I wake up in the morning the first thing I do is grab a cup of coffee.

Unfortunately in most of the Value Resorts, coffee makers are not available for the guest rooms. I have called Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, and Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort and they do not have coffee makers even upon request. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort does however offer coffee makers in their Family Suites.

If you do choose to stay at a Value Resort hotel, I would suggest purchasing a Rapid Fill Resort Refillable Mug at your food court. Once you purchase this mug, you may use it at Quick Service restaurant locations at any Disney Resort Hotel for the length of stay of your vacation. If you are on the Dining Plan, a Rapid Fill Resort Refillable Mug will be included with your plan. This is a great way to have access to coffee day and night (until the food court closes) without having to pay for a cup of coffee each time you want one.

I hope that I have answered your question. Please feel free to stop back in real soon! We love helping guests like you plan unforgettable vacations!
