    I am trying to decide between reservations at Liberty Tree Tavern and The Crystal Palace. On this particular night is the MNSSHP and I am timing the reservations before the first parade. Which location would be the best place for the parade?

    Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is my favorite extra at the Walt Disney World Resort! I love seeing all of the characters in costume, the happy HalloWishes are spectacular and Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade makes me feel just like a kid again. As a matter of fact I am still singing the theme song long after I have left the party.

    Liberty Tree Tavern and The Crystal Palace are two totally different restaurants and experiences. Liberty Tree Tavern is one of my personal favorite restaurants. It is a sit down meal served family style. The food reminds me of delicious home cooking and usually offers foods that you may find on a traditional Thanksgiving Table. It is important to note that there are not any characters at this dining experience. I usually allow approximately 90 minutes for this meal. You will not be able to see the parade from the restaurant but you may be able to find a spot in the general area outside of the restaurant. I do want to tell you however that people often do line up and camp out in a spot quite early to get the best view of the parade.

    The Crystal Palace is also a sit down restaurant but it is buffet style. There is a HUGE variety of food in this restaurant and even my pickiest eater seems to be able to find something that she likes.This is a character meal and you may find characters such as Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, and my favorite Tigger! (Character offerings are subject to change without notice.) You will not be able to watch the parade from this restaurant but you may be able to find a spot on Main Street U.S.A. I usually allow approximately 90-120 minutes for this meal.
