Hello! Trying to decide between renting boat at Epcot or boat at Magic Kingdom...we'll be at Disney middle week of November - husband, 2 kids' bdays fall within 2 weeks of each other and I want to surprise the 3 of them...which one is better?

Very tough question Katie and the best way to answer is that you can't go wrong with either one.

I personally love to get the Illuminations cruise out of the Yacht and Beach Club marina.  We try to do this every time we are there.  The pontoon boat takes you for a wonderful leisurely ride down to the entrance of Hollywood Studios and then back around the lake that Boardwalk envelops.  Then you head to a bridge by the International Gateway for a prime viewing of the fabulous show, Illuminations!  You are close enough to feel the heat of the flames but not elbowing other park guests for a spot.  Since so much of Illuminations takes place on the water level this show is one where you truly need a front  spot to see and appreciate it all. The boat is the best way possible.

To make this surprise even more special consider ordering from room service a Mickey cake and added drinks.  The boat will automatically have sodas and snacks for you that is included.
