HI! Trying to decide between QS & reg dining for our Dec. trip. Had reg dining in 2011-liked having ressies, but it seemed to dictate time we spent in the parks. Does anyone prefer QS? And if we book & a free offer comes out, can we add that to o

Hello Tawn! When I use the Dining Plan, I prefer to use the basic plan that offers one table service, one quick service and one snack for each night of my vacation.  Dining at the various restaurants is part of what makes my vacations enjoyable.

The Quick Service Dining Plan is great if you don't plan on dining at any table service restaurant.  It also allows you more flexibility as you aren't tied down to specific times with dining reservations.  That definitely works for some people.

If you've already booked a Disney vacation and a promotion becomes available, you may be able to update your reservation.  There are terms and conditions attached to reservations so as long as you meet those requirements, you may be able update your reservation.  If a promotion becomes available, I would suggest you contact Disney to see if they can apply that to your reservation.  You may want to keep an eye on the Special Offers page for discounts that may become available during your travel dates.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
