Trying to decide between Princess Breakfast at Akershus or Cinderella Dinner at Park Fare. I'm sure dh can only handle one of these, and ds-7 and dd-9 are pretty casual about faves (no absolute must sees). How do the food & experience compare?

My family enjoyed having such a large selection of food at Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at Park Fare. Our Characters included Prince Charming & Cinderella's Stepsisters which was a lot of fun & my son was relieved to see a man. The Stepsisters really got into character & had the entire room laughing. The Prince even chose some girls out of the group to dance with & then took a swing around the room with Cinderella. It really had a Fairy Tale quality to it. Cinderella & all of her entourage that day will take turns coming around to tables.  A good hint is if they will sit you near the kitchen door (usually where you wouldn't want to be in a restaurant!) your table will be the first one the Character comes to when they enter the room!

Akershus has a good selection of breakfast items cold & hot; from eggs, bacon, potato casserole, fresh fruit to breads everyone should find something they love. Look on the cold buffet for the traditional Norwegian caramel cheese...my family will fight over who gets the last slice! Here, the Princesses also take turns coming around to tables for a little chat and pictures. They are gracious & lovely to everyone.

Both of these Character meals are wonderful & even though we enjoy both my son and husband actually had a good time at Cinderella's Dinner as opposed to just tolerating the other. Pretty sure that Prince Charming had something to do with it...well, & the dinner buffet.
