Trying to decide between prime time or sci fi for lunch...thoughts?? We have a 9, 5, and 15 month old and travelling with our inlaws. 7 of us in total!

    Hi Denise!

The 50's Prime Time Café and the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater are both excellent choices for lunch. You know your family better than anyone but I'll give you some things to think about when making your decision.

Your in-laws may love the 50's Prime Time Café. The theming may bring back some fond memories for them.  The waitresses are in great character and always entertaining. The food is comfort food and always yummy. This restaurant will provide for a better atmosphere for visiting during your meal.

The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater is very unique. Guests are able to sit in a convertible and eat while watching a drive-in movie (black and white Sci-Fi movie clips).  Your 9 and 5 year olds may think this is super cool.  You feel like you're outside and they may love having a seat of their own. The cars typically have 3 rows of seats that hold 2 Guests per row but you should be able to fit your 15-month old in a seat with 2 adults. This would provide less of a chance to talk with everyone during your meal. Its a little loud. The movie may be very entertaining for your 15-month old or be too much stimulation. They do have some picnic tables where they sit parties as well but to me that takes away from the drive-in experience.

Take a look at the menus that you can find on each of the links above and see which looks the most appetizing to your family.  That may also help you make a decision. My theory is that what I don't get to do this trip, I'll try on the next trip which gives me the perfect excuse to start planning the next one.

Please feel free to visit us again with any other questions.  Its our pleasure to assist you! Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
