I am trying to decide if we should plan to go to Fantasmic! at Hollywood Studios. Is it the same show, or very similar to the World Of Color at Disneyland? Thank you!

    Hi Anne-Marie!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

Fantasmic! is not at all similar to World of Color in Disney California Adventure.  Fantasmic! is a show performed in Disneyland Park, across from Disney California Adventure, and at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World.  The two Fantasmic! shows are similar but not exactly the same.  For one, the show in Disney's Hollywood Studios is performed in a custom built stadium and thus there is a lot of seating available, though you should still get there at least 30 minutes before show time (and earlier in the busy season) to guarantee a seat.  Fantasmic is my favorite nighttime spectacular at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.  It is definitely worth seeing!

Enjoy planning your magical Disney vacation, and please write back with more questions!
