We are trying to decide which park to visit on Memorial Day 2013. Would you choose Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios based on crowd levels? Thanks!

    Hi there Christie,

So nice to "see" you here at the Moms Panel!  With 2012 coming to a close in the next month or so, your trip is definitely approaching and will be here before you know it!  How EXCITING is that???

As you likely know, Memorial Day is indeed a very popular day to visit the Walt Disney World Resort and because of this, crowd levels tend to be a bit elevated.  I have been in the parks on Memorial Day on many occasions and have always had a great time.  It's always a great idea to have a plan of action before you arrive on busier days, so kudos to you for getting that planning ball rolling well in advance!

While Magic Kingdom is my most favorite park, I think I'll have to suggest you visit Hollywood Studios on Memorial Day.  Be sure to arrive at Park opening and immediately grab a Fast Pass for either Tower of Terror, Star Tours, or Rockin' Roller Coaster, then ride one of the others while you wait for your return time!

Magic Kingdom may clear out a bit as the day progresses on into the evening, so if you have Park Hopper Tickets, you may decide to head on over after you wrap up at the Studios!  Magic Kingdom is usually open until at least midnight on this holiday!

Let me know if I can be of further assistance in the planning of this magical adventure!
