We are trying to decide if we should get the park hopper or not. It's our first visit to disney-are you able to leave the park and come back later?

    Hi Amber,

The park hopper option added to your Magic Your Way ticket allows your family to visit more than one park in a single day. The advantage is being able to tour one park in the morning, then another for dinner and evening entertainment. We like to hop to Epcot at night for a meal and IllumiNations.

You can tour without the park hopper option if you plan accordingly. For instance, the Animal Kingdom park usually closes before the other parks. Plan to spend the evening at your resort or Downtown Disney. This is also a good time to take in a meal at another resort!

You may enter, exit and re-enter the same park as many times as you want to in a single day. Spend the morning in the Magic Kingdom, return to your resort for a rest, then return to the Magic Kingdom for evening hours.

I'm sure your family is very excited for your first trip to Walt Disney World. We are  here to help with all of your questions so that you enjoy a stress-free, magical vacation!
