We're trying to decide between 'Ohana or the Spirit of Aloha dinner show. (Our son will be 6 when we go.) We're completely willing to go to both if they are different enough to make each dining experience unique. Should we focus on one, or go to both?

    Aloha Cari!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I must admit that I really love both of the dining experiences you mentioned.  Also, your son is at a perfect age to enjoy both 'Ohana and Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show.  Located at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, both experiences are unique and very different from each other.  As a matter of fact, 'Ohana remains one of the most popular dining establishments in all of Walt Disney World.  For breakfast, Lilo and Stitch play host at a family style American breakfast.  The restaurant switches gears at dinner where the Hawaiian influence really kicks in.  The dishes will have a Hawaiian flare, and games and storytelling become a focal point.  Make sure your son participates in the coconut races!  Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show is an extremely entertaining luau.  In addition to the high energy Polynesian themed show, your son is sure to enjoy moments when children are invited to participate in the show.  If you have the ability, I would definitely say that both experiences are well worth your time!

Be sure to make advance reservations for both experiences up to 180 days in advance of your visit. Booking is available online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

I wish you a truly magical vacation!
