Trying to decide on multi lane pass. Mostly due to have a two year old who someone may need to stay behind with and we will use lane swap. Can you use multi lane pass and lane swap together?

Hey there, hi there, Tara! We are so thankful that you've put your trust in our expertise and brought us a planning question. Welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like you are in the process of getting all the details planned out for your upcoming visit. I always encourage anyone who is contemplating Lightning Lane Multi Pass to give it a go, especially if you have limited time. I am happy to share that you can use Multi Pass with Rider Switch. This means that the first person/group will be able to use the Lightning Lane if they have purchased it, instead of going through the standard queue. Then the person who stayed back with the 2 year old would also be able to take advantage of the Lightning Lane. If everyone has Multi Pass, it will definitely be a time saver!

If you are going to be in the parks multiple days, you could give it a try on the first day by waiting to purchase it for the day when you scan into the park. Then you can decide if you want to continue with it for the other days and purchase them each time you scan in for the day. If you add Multi Pass when purchasing your ticket, you will have to purchase it for all of the days on the ticket. I recommend adding a card or two to your MyDisney Wallet in the Disneyland app ahead of time to save time when making this and other purchases in the app during your visit.

Tara, thanks so much for stopping by! As you continue to plan out your visit, you know where to find us for all the answers you need!

While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
