We are trying to decide between La Hacienda or San Angel Inn (EPCOT) for dinner. We have three children (8,8,12). Any thoughts?

    Hi John,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question!

While my family likes both La Hacienda de San Angel and San Angel Inn Restaurante, my answer depends on what your family prioritizes: food or atmosphere. Personally, food quality is a higher priority for me, so I would give La Hacienda a slight edge because I think I prefer its menu. I’m practically drooling thinking abouthttps://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/epcot/hacienda-de-san-angel/menus/ queso fundido, Parrillada "La Hacienda", all washed down with a mango blueberry basil margarita! (Ok. Now I really am drooling!!)

If, however, you think that your kids would be more entertained by watching boats float by under an Aztec pyramid throughout their meal (not to mention the twinkling eternal “twilight” setting of the Plaza de los Amigos), then I would opt for San Angel Inn Restaurante. Its food is still excellent, you can still get some great margaritas, but the setting doesn’t look anything like your typical restaurant!

Have fun planning your trip and please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
