Trying to decide on hotel, some of the littles (age 3 & 9) have yet to experience Disneyland ... Is it worth staying on site or are the benefits not worth the extra price? (They have stayed on "world" site many times.

Hi Karen! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by to ask us your question.

There's something so special about seeing the magic through little ones' eyes! A first-time visit to The Happiest Place on Earth will be filled with that magic, and staying at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels is the perfect way to add some extra pixie dust to your vacation. With the close proximity to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, it's so much easier to take midday breaks. When my kids were little, we loved being able to do this. In my opinion, this alone is a great reason to stay at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels. As a guest staying at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels, you can also take advantage of a 30-minute Early Entry to a designated theme park each day of your hotel stay. This is a great way to start the day early and enjoy select attractions, dining and shopping locations.

As you're looking at hotels, be sure to check the Special Offers and Discounts. There might be some discounts that apply to the dates of your visit. For my family, the pool always determines what hotel we choose. Since you're visiting during the summer, I highly recommend planning to spend some time by the pool.

If you have more questions, please stop by planDisney again. We can't wait for you to be our guest, and we would love to help!

    Wishing you magic,
    Lisa
