    Trying to decide between Grand Floridain and Yacht club in early June. Will only have 3 nights. Going? w/ my 80 yr old mom and 2 kids (6,13). Trying to decide b/tween pool at yacht club and convenience of monorail. Does monorail make travel much easier?

    The monorail really does make travel easier, but only to the Magic Kingdom.  A stay at the Yacht Club, though, eases travel to two parks: Epcot and Hollywood Studios.  If I were you, I would try to anticipate which park(s) you'll be spending the most time at and let that help guide your decision.  And don't underestimate that Yacht Club pool; Stormalong Bay provides a day's worth of entertainment in itself.  Good luck with your decision.
