I am trying to decide when to go early 2012, but it is so hard because the prices are not published yet. I was wondering if anyone knew when the peak season starts in March? I don't need prices, just when the peak season actually starts.

    Hi Megan!
Peak season for Spring Break actually begins about the third week of February, as weird as that sounds. The Northeast has both a February and April school break, and the February break is the sort of unofficial start to Spring Break. It then get increasingly crowded as the college ranks join in with the families. Things stay pretty busy until after Easter (which depending on the year can be late March or mid to late April).
Also, I believe the neww 2012 rates were just released this week, so that will help you plan too.
I hope you are able to plan a Magical vacation!! :)
