    Trying to decide what to do the evening we arrive (we don't have a park ticket that day). Should we hang out at our resort (BLT@C) and swim (how's the weather in mid-Jan?) and eat dinner at The Wave? Or go Downtown to explore and eat at Planet Hollywood?

    Hi Emily,

    The weather in January really varies. It may be warm enough to swim, but that's not a guarantee. If you don't think that you'll have another chance to visit Downtown Disney during your vacation, this may be a good time.

    Staying at your resort is a good option as well, especially if you think you'll go to Downtown Disney at another point during your stay.
