Trying to decide on a Disney resort. Have two children ages 4 & 7. They love swimming.... wondering which resorts have the best swimming areas? While also being close to MK. Thanks in advance!

The resort pools are part of the magic of a Walt Disney World vacation.

Of the three monorail resorts closest to the Magic Kingdom, my pick for best pool would be the Nanea Volcano pool at Disney's Polynesian Resort. With a four story high volcano, waterfall, waterside, and zero entry this pool will keep your kids entertained and happy for hours. There is also a water play area for your children to enjoy.

Perhaps the best pool in WDW is found at Disney's Beach and Yacht Club Resort. This Stormalong Bay pool complex is more like a water park with a lazy river, sandy bottom, currents, and a huge pirate ship with a waterslide. This resort is walking distance to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios, but the Magic Kingdom is a bus ride away.

    Enjoy splashing and swimming!
