Greetings, Arianna!
You honestly can’t go wrong with either of these top-rated
Disneyland Resort hotels! First, to answer your question about using
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa’s special theme-park entrance into Disney California Adventure Park, that entrance is specifically meant for Guests of the Grand Californian, with valid park admission. However, as a Guest of the
Disneyland Hotel, you’d be in close proximity to the
Downtown Disney District entrance of the Disneyland Monorail, which transports you to the heart of Disneyland Park in minutes. The Grand Californian’s park access is helpful if you have little ones needing a midday nap, since you can be in your room within minutes of leaving the park.
My family of five loves staying at the Disneyland Hotel thanks to the classic Disney nostalgia and theming. My children adore the light-up Sleeping Beauty Castle headboards, which can even make going to bed a magical experience! Plus, the monorail waterslides keep them busy for hours.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa also features a spectacular waterslide at the Redwood Pool – it's a 90-foot-long slide that curves around the stump of a giant redwood tree. The Craftsman-style elegance can be seen throughout every corner of this cozy, yet luxurious hotel.
No matter where you end up, you’re going to love the warm, inviting Disney hospitality featured at all three of our Disneyland Resort hotels.
See ya’ real soon!
Kristin
