Welcome aboard, Amanda!
That's not a bad dilemma at all. You're tossing between 2 absolutely magical vacation choices and I'm sure you and your family would be happy with either choice. It sounds like you and the boys have not had a chance to sail with Captain Mickey yet -- and that's something you must change as soon as possible! I think you'll quickly learn how
cruising with Disney let's you adventure together as a family a different way.
Your Teen and Tweens (we'll bump up the 7-year old, since I'm sure he wouldn't mind it) would be floored once they get a chance to spend some time at the
Oceaneer Lab and the
Edge. You'll be on vacation and your kids can have an awesome time on their own in a supervised, challenging and fun youth club, with kids their same age. Parents won't be too far away - reachable anytime and within 5 minutes anywhere you may be needed. You could be enjoying some time at the spa, or pool - or maybe enjoying a mixology class with other parents. Just plainly, having fun. You could choose to do very little or do a lot on your all-inclusive vacation. Eat delicious food to your heart's content and participate in activities that you won't necessarily find on land!
Your boys would love the Pirates IN the Caribbean deck party -- swashbuckling fun for everyone! I think your family would really enjoy being treated like royalty onboard the Disney Fantasy. If you've had fun at Disney World, prepare to be catapulted to a different type of vacation while onboard the Disney Cruise ship. Castaway Cay awaits and that alone could sway you into sailing again in the future.
Check it out, Amanda! You'll be glad you did!
