Trying to decide on which day for MVMCP. How does the MK work for people who are in the park and not attending the party. Do you have to leave once the party starts? Are restaurants still open for reservations for non party guests?

    Hi Brandi,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question. Nothing gets me into the Holiday spirit more than Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park. If you’re able to attend this special event during one of your upcoming visits to Walt Disney World Resort, I highly recommend it!

Guests with Party tickets are allowed to enter Magic Kingdom Park as of 4:00 p.m., when they will be given a wristband when they enter the Park. As of 7:00 p.m. (when Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Pary starts), any Guest that does not have a wristband will be asked to leave the Park. This also means that Guests who haven’t purchased a ticket to the Party will be unable to eat in a restaurant located inside Magic Kingdom Park after 7:00 p.m., even if they were able to make a dining reservation in order to do so.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
