Hi, Trying to decide between Coronado Springs and Caribbean Resort. We have three young children, is one resort easier to travel to and from the parks? Both look amazing, now just trying to narrow it down! thanks!

Hi Melissa! I am glad to offer my own personal suggestions for choosing your resort for the next Disney trip for your family. I have stayed in both and have definite opinions so lets go!

There are many pros to staying at Coronado Springs resort. It has an amazing main building where you can find the check-in sections, concierge help, and the food options. This is a convention resort so you will have many more amenities here then any other moderate on property. There is a health club, spa and table service fine dining.  I find this a plus that it is a convention resort as during the day most of these people are busy with meetings and their own activities leaving pools and common areas fairly empty. The convention area is completely separate from the main resort area so you might not even be aware that a large activity is taking place. They generally don't use the park busses when they have groups as they contract for their own to take them from place to place. There is one bus area at the main building and although you might be a far walk it is convenient and you don't have the internal system to worry about. There is a beautiful main pool area and then several quiet pools that are basically just pools and not themed. The last great pro to this resort is that all rooms have queen beds!

The Caribbean Beach Resort is one of the older moderates and to me it feels old. The rooms were dark and I really disliked not having a main building where I could go for help if needed. The check-in building is completely separate from the rest of the resort. You also have one main pool area and it is nice and several other "quiet" pools among the building clusters. There is an internal bus system here so you have many stops before you even leave the resort. The rooms will have two double beds so you miss out on the extra space a queen sized bed can offer.

You can't go wrong with either but definitely my personal choice and vote would go to Coronado Springs Resort!
