Trying to decide between character dinner at Chef Mickey's or character breakfast at O'Hana's. Which do you prefer? We did breakfast at Chef Mickey's earlier this year and loved it! Traveling with kids ages 3 and 1. Thanks!

Hi there, Trina! Thanks for stopping by to see us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You've got a couple of tasty choices for your character meal. Let's help you get planning!

We love Chef Mickey's, too. Seeing the monorail pass by overhead as it glides through Disney's Contemporary Resort, enjoying the yummy buffet, and meeting the "Fab Five" of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy make for tons of fun for the whole family. We've enjoyed both breakfast and dinner here, and both were fabulous.

I think since you've already experienced Chef Mickey's, I'd hang-10 on over to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and try 'Ohana. Breakfast is served family-style, with all-you-care-to enjoy breakfast fare like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and breads with a Hawaiian flair. One thing I really like about family-style service as opposed to a buffet is the fact that your food is brought to your table, rather than having to jump up and hit the buffet. Much less stressful when you're trying to watch little ones while eating your own meal, too.

I hope this helps your family have a magical meal with your Disney pals, Trina. Hope we see ya real soon!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
