We are trying to decide b/w the CBR and PO-Riverside. How long is the bus ride from the resort to the different parks? We will have 2 kids (8&4), trying to look at the walk, wait times and resorts. We're having a hard time deciding where to stay.

    Hi Jennifer!

I've been known to obsess over our Walt Disney World Resort accommodations! There are just so many amazing options, it's hard to choose! What I can tell you for certain now that I've had the opportunity of staying onsite at several different resort locations, you really can't go wrong with your decision and the cast members will go out of their way to make everyone's Disney experience a positive one!

A great unofficial resource for calculating bus transportation times from the resorts to the theme parks can be found at: www.ourlaughingplace.com. From the home page, select planning tools in the left hand margin and then, "OLP WDW Transportation Wizard". Simply input your data and click "Find Route".

Between the two moderate resorts you listed in your question above, my family loves Disney's Port Orleans Riverside for the added amenities like horse-drawn carriage rides and the super cool (especially at night) boat transportation to Downtown Disney.

Thanks for taking the time to visit us at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions our way in the days leading up to your trip! May your Disney vacation be practically perfect in every way!
