Hi! We are trying to decide where to have breakfast on the morning we leave. Looking for something outside of the parks. Already have reservations at 1900 Park Fare and O'hana (for dinner though, not breakfast). Any suggestions?

    Hello, Kathy,

I think having one final big Disney breakfast is a perfect way to wrap up a trip to Walt Disney World, and there are many options outside of the parks  One of our favorite breakfast spots is Boma-Flavors of Africa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Plenty of traditional breakfast dishes, but a chance to try some dishes with African flavors. It will also give you an opportunity to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and see many of its treasures.

Another place for a little light-hearted fun and plenty of breakfast food served up in a flat iron skillet is the Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. You may hear a few yee-haws while dining and feel as if you've moved out to the frontier.

Kona Cafe at Disney's Polynesian Village is famous for its Tonga Toast and macadamia nut treats.  You can even indulge on a pot of 100% Kona Coffee.

The Grand Floridian Cafe at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is elegant and lovely with fresh flowers at each table. You might even want to splurge on Lobster Eggs Benedict since you are still on vacation!

And finally, I'd like to suggest The Wave...of American Flavors at Disney's Contemporary Resort, which could be one of the best-kept secrets at Walt Disney World. The restaurant specializes in healthful food choices that are full of flavor and all-together yummy. My favorite is the sweet potato pancakes.

Wishing you a magical trip!  -Kara
