Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    Trying to decide between Boma's and Rainforest Cafe for dinner on the day we spend at AK. There will be 12 of us, (kids ages 12yrs, 9, 5, 5, & 1). We loved TRex last trip! Would it be easier to just eat at Rainforest Cafe or worth it to head to Boma?

    Hi Beth,

    If your family enjoyed T-Rex, then you will almost certainly like the Rainforest Cafe as well.  The two restaurants share a similar ambiance.  However, I suggest that you give Boma a try.  This is one of my family's favorite dining experiences at Walt Disney World.  Not only will you enjoy an extensive, crowd-pleasing buffet at Boma, it will also give you the opportunity to explore Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  If you haven't visited this resort yet, it is well worth the trip.  (It's a very short bus ride from Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park to this resort.)  Your kids will love seeing the animals on the savanna behind this resort either before or after your dinner.  It would be easier to eat at the Rainforest Cafe but I think you'll have a more memorable and tasty experience at Boma.

    Good luck with your decision.  You really can't go wrong with either choice.
