Hey howdy hey, Ken, and welcome to
planDisney! I always enjoy helping my fellow
Magic Key holders, so let’s get started!
First off, I’m so sorry to hear you’re having trouble renewing your Enchant Magic Key. I understand that it can be a bit confusing, so I’d be happy to walk you through the renewal process. I recently completed my own Magic Key renewal, and I took some notes along the way.
First, I recommend double checking your expiration date to ensure you’re eligible for renewal. Currently, Magic Key passes are eligible for renewal up to 30 days before their expiration date. To check your expiration date, simply pull up your Magic Key on your
Disneyland app and check in the “Tickets and Passes” section. Underneath the bar code of your Magic Key, you’ll find your expiration date. If you’re within your renewal window, you can navigate to
Disneyland.com/renew to begin the renewal process. You’ll be prompted to sign into your Disney account, and then you’ll be directed to the renewal page, which will say, “Renew Your Magic Key Pass” at the top of the page. There, you’ll see your Magic Key, along with any other Keys you’re linked to, that are within their renewal windows. You'll have the chance to upgrade or downgrade to a different pass type, subject to pass availability, which may change from time to time. Then, you’ll complete your transaction, and be on your way to another year of magic at the
Happiest Place on Earth! If you have any additional Magic Key renewal questions, you can also call the Magic Key call center at (714) 781-7277.
Have you heard the exciting news, Ken? All Magic Key holders can now receive 20% off the purchase of Disney Genie+ service (subject to limited availability) on days when you use your pass for park admission. I can’t wait to purchase it on my next visit! Also, don’t forget to follow

Wishing you another magical year!
