Trying to come up with a day plan for MK for 4 YO DD and I. We usually travel to WDW in Oct. but will be there on 6/9-16! Expecting much heavier crowds.DD is a princess/fairy lover but also loves the rides. What is your suggestion for planning our day?

As the proud parent of two princesses, I have plenty of ideas for you at the Magic Kingdom in a few weeks. It will be busier, so be sure to arrive at the park as soon as you can. I would begin my trip with a royal visit. Head on over to the Town Square Theater for a visit with the likes of Cinderella, Belle and Princess Aurora. Have you camera ready for the royal photos as well as that autograph book. These princesses are just the sweetest and your little one will have some great memories of her visit with these royal ladies. From there I would hop on one of the antique motor vehicles, my girls prefer the old fashioned fire truck, and head on over to Adventureland. We enjoy a ride on the timeless classic that is the Jungle Cruise, as well as a journey on the Magic Carpets of Aladdin. These rides are fun for the whole family. After a nice snack, I prefer the churro, we head on over to watch Celebrate A Dream Come True Parade on Main Street. This awesome musical procession is full of Disney Characters and the upbeat music will have you swaying to the tunes as you enjoy the colorful floats filled with so many popular Disney Characters. From there I would head over to see all of the new Fantasyland Expansion and even take a ride on Goofy's Barnstormer. Make sure to take a ride on 'it's a small world,' and Dumbo the Flying Elephant while you are there. As the night winds down make sure to find a good spot to enjoy the magic that is Wishes. This will be a perfect way to end a great day at the Happiest Place on Earth.
