Trying to convince my husband to sail on the Dream(4 nights)in 2027. What specific adults only activities can I share to convince him that this can be as fun(if not more)than our trips to WDW? Any other special treats/events that might persuade him? Thanks

    Ahoy, Lindsay!

Welcome back to planDisney!  I'm so happy that you're back to see us again and ready to make more magical Disney memories - this time at sea!  Lindsay, I've sailed on the Disney Dream four times. . .and two of those times have been without my children.  Don't tell them, but I had a pretty great time enjoying everything Disney Cruise Line has to offer for adults.  I'm happy to share a few of my favorite spaces and activities on the ship, which I'm sure will help you convince your husband to set sail for an absolutely DREAM-y vacation!

Picture this.  On your days at sea, you can relax at Quiet Cove Pool, an adults-only pool and lounge area.  There is a very shallow area of the pool where you can be in the water, but still bathe in the beautiful sunshine - it's perfect!  My husband and I never miss a chance to enjoy an adult-exclusive dining experience at Palo or Remy.  We typically reserve dinner at Palo, but on our most recent cruise, we finally had the chance to try brunch, and it was a truly amazing meal.

Throughout the cruise, you'll find opportunities to book beverage seminars, such as the Stem-to-Stern Wine Tasting that we just tried for the first time on the Dream in January.  Not only did we have fun tasting a variety of wines, but it was a great opportunity to learn more about wine regions and flavor profiles.  In the evening, you won't want to miss one of the Broadway-style shows before heading over to The District for adults-only fun, including trivia, dancing, games, and several lounges.  One of my favorites is Skyline, where the city view changes as you enjoy your drinks and conversation each night.

If your cruise itinerary includes stops at either Disney Castaway Cay or Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point (or maybe both?!?), you'll find adult-only beaches on each island.  These stretches of beach are quiet and peaceful - even offering their own dining locations exclusive to adults.  On our first adults-only cruise, my husband and I booked a Couples Cabana Massage at Serenity Bay on Castaway Cay.  Listening to the gentle island breezes rustle the palm leaves as we relaxed in paradise has to be one of my favorite Disney Cruise memories!  Over at Lookout Cay, I'd recommend taking a stroll along The Nature Trail to enjoy gorgeous views and experience the natural beauty of the Bahamas.

Lindsay, these are just a few of the many reasons we enjoy cruising as adults on the Disney Dream, but it's a topic I could easily go on and on about, so please stop by again if you have more questions!

    SEA ya real soon!
