I have been trying to contact WDW for over a week with no luck. How does the mobile ordering work? Can any of the dining plans be used for mobile ordering? How do I find out what is available to order?

    Hi Amy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It looks like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the corner, how exciting! Don't forget to check out the Disney Parks Blog between now and your arrival to learn of anything new happening around the 'World ... well, the Walt Disney World!

I'd be happy to help you figure out how to use Mobile Ordering! Since you were able to write to us, I know that you already have a My Disney Experience profile. Next, you'll want to make sure that you've downloaded the My Disney Experience Mobile App as this is where you'll actually place your orders in addition to a lot of other handy in-park experiences.

You can go ahead and get acquainted with and read the menus of the 40+ Disney Dining Locations that currently participate in Mobile Ordering by clicking this link. And super duper news, all of these locations participate in Disney's Dining Plans for both Quick-Service meal entitlements as well as snacks.

During your vacation, when you're ready to place your order, you'll open up your app and press the blue "+" sign at the bottom center. Out of the pop-up list, select "Order Food". Next, select the restaurant you want to visit. And really neat is that this list is organized by theme park, so you don't have to worry that you'll accidentally order something in a different park or resort hotel. Once you've located your restaurant, tap its name; this will open up a profile page just on this dining location where you can access its full menu as well as even see a GPS map of where you are vs where it's located. On this page select "order food' and the next page you'll see is your actual menu ordering screen. Tap away with what you'd like to order, and when you're done click 'View My Order'. You'll see everything you selected in this one screen and from here you can either modify anything that needs correcting (like removing tomatoes or deleting an accidental duplicate item) or you can move forward with your meal. The last page is an "Order Summary" page where you can still "go back" to make any necessary changes. But if everything looks right click 'Purchase' and make your way to the pick up area. When you get to the location, click the blue 'I'm Here - Prepare my Order" button and it shouldn't take longer than that before your name or number is called out.

I'm attaching a helpful Mobile Ordering video featuring my panel mate Nancy. I hope this helped you feel better about this super time (and line!) saving dining option, Amy, and We'll See You Real Soon!
