HI I am trying to complete the online check in at my disney resort hotel for my room booking and that for my friends and family room bookin g but it will only let me check in the 3 people on my room. How do I check in the linked guests??

    Hi Vicky!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Are you getting oh so excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort holiday? It sounds like you're going to have a big party which means big fun! Have you all started thinking about fun group shirts or matching outfits? Not only do they make for great photo opportunities with large groups, they can seriously help should you become separated from each other!

There are many great things that you can do for and with your linked Family Members and Friends in your My Disney Experience Account. However, only guests of a single Disney Resort Hotel reservation number may do things like upgrade hotel rooms, charge items back to the credit card on file with that specific room, and check-in online for the guests staying in that specific reservation. I met my parents at Walt Disney World Resort in March and while I made both of our room reservations in the same phone call, because they were technically separate bookings with their own reservation numbers there were just a few security-specific things I was unable to do within their booking, one of which was check them in online. I was also unable to charge items to their room without their MagicBand, nor was I able to program my band to open the door to both my and their resort hotel room.

If all of your groups' bookings are under the reservation (confirmation) number, then you should have access to all of the above and there might just be an error with the system at this time. In that case, do reach out to the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line at 0800-16-90-730. We'll surely get this figured out one way or another!

Bonus Tip: Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for awesome updates of what's new to experience for your visit!

We'll See You Real Soon, Vicky!
