Trying to choose between POR vs FQ. I know enough about the resorts except the pools. Which has the biggest and best? Most importantly, which has the longest waterslide? Thanks for you input.

    Hello Jaynee!

I am glad to hear that you already know about these fabulous resorts.  Personally, I love them both.  If a pool slide is your deciding factor, then I recommend choosing Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter for younger children.  The swimming pool area is called Doubloon Lagoon.  The pool area features a massive sea serpent that stretches all through the main pool.  He is actually the pool slide!  The slide itself is around 51 feet in length.  You enter the serpent slide and exit on his tongue.  However, if you want the larger pool (also with a longer slide), then consider the more rustic looking pool at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.  The area is called Ol' Man Island and was made to look like an old time swimming hole.  The pool slide is about 95 feet long!  The area even includes a place to go fishing.

Please write back if I can help answer any other questions.  I am happy to help!

Until then, I wish you a truly magical vacation!
