Trying to choose good quick service restaurants. We want to get the most bang for our buck, what QS restaurants do you all feel have the most variety generous portions? Thanks!

    Eric:

I love Disney dining questions! And with a family of six, I'm always judging by the value of what we're served! Here are some of my favorites based on variety and portion size:

    Magic Kingdom:
Pecos Bill's for its build-your-own-burger bar, including mushrooms!
Cosmic Ray's for its generous ribs and rotisserie chicken complete with mashed potatoes and steamed green beans.

    Epcot:
Sunshine Seasons: check out its blue-plate line and main-dish salads!
Cantina de San Angel: Big platters of tacos and burritos if you like Tex-Mex.

    Animal Kingdom:
Flame-Tree BBQ: Their dry-rub ribs keep us coming back.

    Disney Studios:
Backlot Express: They have a fresh menu and their kid's meals come with lots of healthy choices for sides including grapes and carrots.

    Resorts:
    Pepper Market,
Coronado Springs: Best variety for Quick-Service on property besides Sunshine Seasons. Mexican, blue-plate, Chinese, you name it.
Intermission Food Court, All-Star Movies: Good selection if you have picky eaters in the bunch. Although I haven't eaten at the other All-Star resorts, their menus found on www.allears.net point to the same variety.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
