    I am trying to choose between the 2 bed Saratoga Springs villas and the 2 bed OKW villas. Which property would minimize our travel times to parks/down-town disney and are there specific locations within the property that are best?

    You've picked two fantastic resorts to choose between! We've stayed in a 2 bedroom at both Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa as well as the 2 bedroom at Disney's Old Key West Resort, several times each, and love them both.

    Because they are so close to each other, I don't think that either one will save you commute time to any of the parks. However, your proximity to Downtown Disney is close enough from SS that some locations there are close enough to walk between the two. Congress Park is the set of buildings which are located closest to the pedestrian walkway from SS to DD. When you look across the waterway from Downtown Disney and see SS, those buildings you see are in Congress Park.

    Over at Old Key West Resort, my good friend loves buildings 11, 12, 13 and 14, since they are directly across the street from Hospitality House (where you'll find the main pool, restaurant, Community Hall and store.) We, however, really love buildings 23, 24, 25 and 26 for a very tricky reason. We can easily walk to the main pool (even with little ones in tow) AND, if we miss a bus which is headed to a park, we can still walk to the Hospitality House bus stop and catch that same bus there (it makes one more loop before heading to the last stop, Hospitality House.)

    The rooms at Old Key West are larger than those at Saratoga Springs and the landscaping has grown in more there, too. However, some prefer the spa and dining options at Saratoga Springs. Both have a charm all their own.
